Capabilities include:
  • Buddy Status enables users to see their colleague's line state status (on/off hook) or set status (out to lunch, in a meeting, on vacation, etc.) before making a call.
  • Call Block blocks outgoing calls in a Cisco IP Communications environment from the 'Do-Not-Call' list maintained in IPsession.
  • Call Tag enables callers to leave a call tag message to Cisco IP Phones.
  • Cisco IP Phone Panic Button Alerts (PBA) are icons or a service URL assigned to a line/speed dial button on the Cisco IP Phone.
  • Dashboard provides a dynamic icon-based interface on the Cisco IP Phones.
  • Dial Out allows users to make a broadcast of a pre-recorded/uploaded message via IPsession to a Cisco IP Phone or regular PSTN/Cellular phones.
  • Do Not Disturb (DND) is added to MyStatus and allows the setting of call forward and do not disturb on directory numbers.
  • DND Intercom can be activated to allow or disallow intercom sessions to a user's line.
  • DND Paging can be activated to allow or disallow paging sessions to a user's line.
  • Facilities Scheduler provides a way to reserve resources or facilities that are shared by groups, departments or individuals. For example, conference rooms, projectors, auditorium, demo kits, and more.
  • Forced Account Codes (FAC) provides a way to enforce account codes prior to calls being made.
  • Hoot-N-Holler (HNH) is a pre-scheduled conference solution.
  • Intercom enables users to browse through LDAP directory entries or enter an extension to open a one-way voice stream from one Cisco IP Phone to another Cisco IP Phone.
  • Intercom Text Reply provides an alternative to responding audibly to the intercom initiator.
  • Intercom Whisper is an announcement sent to another extension that is active on a call where only the person on the extension hears the announcement.
  • Internal 911 Alert Notification allows organizations to monitor Cisco IP Phones looking for specific dialing patterns, typically 911. When dialing patterns are matched, IPsession sends an internal alert notification to Cisco IP Phones, email addresses and the i.Alert client.
  • IP Phone Presence allows employees to see the set physical status and line state status of the Cisco IP Phone.
  • Location Enforcer prompts users of Cisco IP Phones to enter their address information when the Cisco IP Phone is reset or rebooted.
  • Multi-Line Join enables users to efficiently conference calls that are on separate lines on a Cisco IP Phone in order to mimic a PBX 'join' functionality.
  • My Status allows a user to select a status from a list, for example; On a Conference Call, Out to Lunch, On Vacation and more.
  • Paging provides real-time audio/text/text-to-speech (TTS) messages to Cisco IP Phones.
  • PIN-Based Paging is a security capability for the IPsession paging capabilities.
  • Pre-Programmed Conference allows you to pre-configure groups of phone numbers, (Cisco IP Phones, PSTN and cellular), that you would like to instantly bring into a group conference call, for example, administrators, emergency teams, security teams, executives, sales teams, support teams and more.
  • Pre-Recorded/Audio Paging is paging using pre-recorded or uploaded audio files.
  • Streaming Audio allows real-time audio broadcast (for example, using Satellite/FM/AM radio or MP3 player ) to a Cisco IP Phone.
  • Text Paging allows the user to send dynamic and pre-configured text messages to a Cisco IP Phone or a zone paging group using the IPsession web interface.
  • Timecard turns every Cisco IP Phone into a time clock device where employees can sign-in and sign-out for work.
