An important part of the success of a voice, security, or datacenter project is the ability of the organization to maximize the use of the new system that was just purchased. Furthermore, for those systems that end-users come into contact with, classroom style end-user training is important to the success of the project. In some cases people have to be trained that are unable to attend a class, and remote training is appropriate. Adcap has solutions for all training requirements.
System Administrator Training
Even thought Adcap’s vendors provide extensive documentation, as well as ongoing support through technical assistance centers, it is essential that at least one person has gained the theoretical knowledge of the system that will enable him or her to operate it in a competent manner in an ongoing basis.
The best way to gain that knowledge is through partipation in a formal training environment appropriate to the technologies that are being deployed. Adcap’s training partners provide a quality combination of classroom and lab training that imparts this knowledge in the most effective manner possible.
Firefly Communications is the leader in Datacenter training, and has developed all the Cisco datacenter training programs. Firefly also has advanced multivendor datacenter expertise, as well as rapid training development capilities, giving them the capability to deliver custom training for organizations that require training specific to their datacenter environment.
Ascolta delivers training developed an approved by their vendor partners. Furthermore, through their specialization in Unified Communications, they have also developed training specifically for Cisco Systems Telepresence Systems.
End-User Training
Unified Communications is an example of a technology where the project success rate improves dramatically when end-users receive training in the use of the new system. Adcap offers classroom instruction for groups of users on the organization’s new phone system, and can also deliver this training remotely for remote users. Also, Adcap offers a train-the-trainer option for organizations that prefer to conduct their own end-user training.
On-Going Training
Adcap has outstanding engineers on staff. As a way to showcase their capabilities, every month an Adcap engineer conducts a Geeknick. This is a four hour in-depth overview of the configuration, management, an optimization of one of the systems that Adcap deploys on a regular basis. The Geeknicks are open to customers for no charge, and provide unique training that is based on actual deployment experience. See the Adcap Events page for a schedule of upcoming Geeknicks. See the Geeknick website for current technical information.
