SA-Announce

This feature-rich alert notification system connects to Cisco Unified Communications Manager to provide audio and text notifications across an enterprise. It can help to improve communication, productivity, and security. It can also serve as an effective emergency notification system.

This advanced mass notification system can be used with other applications to provide an emergency paging and notification system across the company. It can be easily customized to meet your requirements.

The SA-Announce Notification System is a feature-rich notification system that couples to Cisco Unified Communications Manager to provide text and audio notifications across an enterprise. The notifications can be real time, such as emergency alerts and live audio notifications (IE paging / intercom), or they can be scheduled via the scheduling system. SA-Announce integrates the phone system with a large number of disparate end points such as Cisco IP Phones, Legacy Overhead Systems, Valcom IP Speakers, CyberData IP Speakers, Email, Everbridge (formerly 3n), Syn-Apps Paging Relay, and Alertus devices. Notifications can be made by simply picking up the phone and dialing the notification group directory number.

SA-Announce v7.0.0 – New Features

  • Dynamic Paging Groups: IP Phones in a notification group can be assigned using a filter;
as you add devices to the system there is no need to manage the notification group.
  • Email Integration: Emails can be sent when SA-Announce notification groups are
    activated.
  • CyberData IP Speakers: Support for the entire suite of CyberData IP Speakers.
Everbridge (formerly 3n): Activate Everbridge scenario(s) when an SA-Announce
    notification group is activated.
  • Alertus: Activate Alertus Beacon Groups when a SA-Announce notification group
    is activated.
  • Syn-Apps Paging Relay: A unicast to multicast hardware device (PoE) that can be
used to provide multicast over a non multicast enabled WAN.
  • SA-Announce Web Service: Automatically activate notification groups and gather
information using the SA-Announce web service.
  • Auto Support Ticket Generation: The prepare report interface will FTP all pertinent
log files to Syn-Apps Support and create a ticket via email with the press of a button.
  • Activity Logging: Notification group activity, schedule activity, text message activity
and web interface log in activity are all logged and can be easily viewed in the GUI.
  • Syn-Apps Device Profile: Syn-Apps has completed the Cisco QED process: 0 DLU
    consumption for CUCM 5, 6, and 7.

Call Alert

This Web-based application will automatically send text and audio or e-mail notifications to Cisco IP phones when a specific user dials a number or when a specific number is dialed. You can define triggers that match source and / or destination phone numbers and then define actions that determine whether an e-mail is sent or one or more phones are messaged.

You can easily create templates associated with an action to define the message that is sent. It also integrates with leading IP Camera vendors to allow delivery of photos to VoIP phones.

Due to growing public concern surrounding security issues, Syn-Apps continues to enhance the features and functionality of Call Alert to increase security, usability, and responsiveness during emergency situations. Call Alert provides the following functionalities to fulfill any call notification requirement.

  • Proactive Event Notification: Notify specific users when any number is dialed.
  • E-mail Notifications: Specified personnel will be notified via e-mail and/or SMS text when a specific number is dialed.
  • IP Phone Messages: Send text and tone based notifications to any XML enabled phone on the network.
    »» Message the Source Phone
    »» Message the Target Phone
  • Message Templates: Alert messages contain information such as: Phone Extension, Floor and Room Number (User Location), User Name, Date & Time, Any other pertinent information as defined by the administrator
  • Call Tracking: Monitor specific users and/or dialed digits to track phone usage. Administrators can monitor users with respect to: Specific numbers users are dialing (i.e. monitor all 911 calls). Calls to specific users (i.e. monitor calls to ext. XXXX). Increase Campus Security: Notify Campus Security of an outgoing ‘911’ call
and send critical information regarding the location of the emergency via text and audio notification. This capability reduces response time and takes the guesswork out of locating the emergency on campus.

Broadcast Manager

You can use Broadcast Manager to manage and deliver tone alerts and recorded messages over Valcom and CyberData IP speakers, Cisco IP telephones, and legacy overhead paging systems. It has a user-friendly Web interface, which makes it easy to configure, schedule, and manage broadcasts.

You can use this high-tech broadcast management system to easily and effectively broadcast across entire Analogue and IP networks. You can schedule announcements at any time throughout the day and apply any WAV file to a broadcast.

Broadcast Manager is very easy to install and provides useful functionality for environments in need of schedulable tone broadcasts. Users have the ability to apply any WAV file to a broadcast and schedule announcements at any give time period throughout the day. From the classroom to the manufacturing floor, Broadcast Manager provides the following functionality:

  • Custom Notification Schedules: Users have complete control over the notification schedules; including the type of alert sound, duration, and frequency per day. Customize schedules according to:
    »» WAV File
    »» Day of Week
    »» Time of Day
    »» Broadcast Intervals
  • Integration: Bell tone broadcasts are supported on overhead analog paging systems, as well as Cisco IP phones and Valcom and CyberData IP speakers.
  • DTMF Zone Selection: Built in for multi-zone systems
  • Easy Access: System administrators can access the Broadcast Manager System from any network computer
  • Schedule Pre-recorded Broadcasts: External phones can receive a scheduled, pre-recorded Broadcast Manager “page”.
  • Perfect Sound: Internal voice packet broadcasting service allows the implementation of Broadcast Manager without requiring multicast configuration. Broadcasts deliver perfect sound to hundreds of end points instantaneously
  • Unlimited Schedules: Users have the ability to create an unlimited number of scheduled broadcasts.
  • Unlimited Broadcast Tones: Users may import any WAV file to broadcast across the network.

IPCC Dashboard

IPCC Dashboard can give you a real-time view of agent and queue status for Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX/IPCC). You can select a contact service queue or team to view a list of agents assigned to that queue and their current status.

IPCC Dashboard has a built-in alert service that can message phones and send email when the number of calls in queue or the oldest contact in queue reaches a level defined by you. It also displays queue and team-based statistics and can track incoming calls per queue.

IPCC Dashboard can help a call center to track handled calls, average time taken to handle those calls, and other relevant call handling information. This can help to boost productivity and efficiency.

  • View real-time agent and queue status at a glance.
  • IPCC Dashboard alert service provides proactive event notification by sending emails and messaging IP phones when user defined thresholds are met.
  • Historical reports generation for Queues/Teams by day or multi-day (reports TSF [Telephony Service Factor] and contributing variables).
  • Supports both Resource and Skill group call service queues
  • Shows pertinent stats per agent, queue, and team:
    »» Current status
    »» Calls handled
    »» Average Call Handle Time
    »» Idle time
    »» Oldest contact
    »» Calls handled today/this hour
    »» Calls abandoned today/this hour
    »» TSF: Telephony Service Factor
