In 2007, Joe Powell & Associates was once again expanding to accommodate continued growth. With more than 33 years in the industry, the company had become a well known provider of Liebert technology and needed more operating space to service a growing client base. With the construction of a new facility came the necessary implementation of a new communication system as well.
Decision makers at Joe Powell & Associates turned to fellow industry leaders, Adcap Network Systems, for a new Cisco VOIP system. “Being in the same industry, we’ve had a relationship with Adcap for some time,” said CEO Chad Powell. “Since we constantly refer others to Adcap for Cisco-based communication systems, it just made sense for us to capitalize on their expertise as well.”
To meet the company’s burgeoning communication needs, the facility was outfitted with the Cisco Voice Gateway and CallManager 5.0 with Unified Messaging. More than 50 VOIP phones and a wireless network were installed, and two remote users were established.
