Inside Quoting Specialist — Georgia

Job Description:

The Inside Sales/Quoting Specialist  is responsible for delivering IT project quotations for Adcap’s pre-sales engineering team, to develop customer solutions for Adcap’s Public Sector and Commercial accounts. This position will report to the VP Solution Architecture.  There is learning and hard work required, and the successful candidate will have to hit the ground running and deliver precise and accurate quotes on-demand.

Position Responsibilities:

• This position will be based in Atlanta, GA
• Responsible for working with pre-sales engineering team to develop customer solutions
• Prepare IT project quotations based on designs and specifications of systems engineers.
• Assist systems engineers in completion of administrative tasks
• Engage with appropriate Cisco technical and sales personnel on a planned schedule 
• Work with select group of vendors and distributors to get pricing for quotes
• Must enjoy and be willing to learn new technologies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

• 4 year degree from accredited College or University
• Ability to fully utilize Microsoft EXCEL functions to create spreadsheets, which may be tested during the interview
• 3+ years of experience selling / quoting IT hardware, software, or services
• Inside sales/quoting track record
• Attention to detail is a must and may be tested during the interview
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, sales people, vendors and peers
