Role:
We are searching for a motivated Cisco routing and switching engineer with security experience to add to our highly capable engineering team. CME experience is a plus. Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for assisting the Senior Network Engineers deploy switches, routers, firewalls, CME and all other Cisco security products. In some cases you will be responsible for the deployment.
Position Requirements:
- 2-4 year experience configuring and installing routers and switches.
- CCNP required
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Required Skills:
- Pix/ASA experience
- CME/CUE Experience preferred
- Cisco CLI routing and switching experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to interact with customer on a daily basis in a professional manner.
- Motivated to learn in a fast paced environment
Position Responsibilities:
- This position will be based in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
- Upgrade/Install Routers, ASAs and Switches and other Cisco security platforms as directed by Senior Engineer.
- Report progress to project management.
- Must enjoy learning new technologies.
- Other responsibilities as directed.
