Account Manager – Florida Select Enterprise

Job Description:

Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining customer relationships in the Commercial mid-market in Florida, which usually includes clients with 300-3000 users. This is a field sales job with practically unlimited upside earnings potential. There is a lot of learning and hard work required, and the successful candidate will have to hit the ground running and turn up opportunities quickly, then be able to work with the customers to develop good reasons to purchase, and get orders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • This position will be based in Miami, FL.
  • Responsible for identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Responsible for account management of select customers.
  • Responsible for working with pre-sales engineering team to develop customer solutions.
  • Engage with appropriate vendor technical and sales personnel on a planned schedule to keep them informed of successes, issues and opportunities.
  • This is a field sales based position, and there will be local travel required.
  • Must enjoy and be willing to learn new technologies.

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

  • Proven sales track record.
  • 3+ years of experience selling IT hardware, software, or services.
  • Proven ability identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, sales people, vendors and peers.

Helpful attributes:

  • Cisco, video, software, server, storage sales experience a strong plus.
  • Experience calling on South Florida mid-market Commercial customers.
  • 4 year degree from accredited College or University.
