Datacenter Solution Architect – Georgia

Adcap Network Systems is currently looking for a Solution Architect to join our growing team. Adcap is one of the top Cisco partners in the SouthEast, with an excellent track record of success and steady growth.

The position will involve working directly with clients from both a business and technology perspective. Projects will include creating proposals with complete bill of materials and scope of work, acting as a resource and mentor for our engineers on their projects, staying current with industry technology. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work well with a great team is critical. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Job Description
Under the direction of the VP of Solution Architecture, your role will involve the following activities:

• Work directly with clients and with our account managers to create solution architectures for their business requirements.
• Stay technically current in Adcap’s solution focus area of Datacenter:
  • Private Cloud, Servers, Storage, & Virtualization
    • Server virtualization
    • desktop virtualization
    • shared storage
    • private and hybrid cloud implementation.
• Work in a pre-sales capacity building proof of concepts, demonstrations, proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
• Provide technical thought leadership to the entire Adcap team, and mentoring to the individual team members, both through formal sessions such as lunch and learns and one on one discussion.
• Participate in setting the strategic direction of Adcap Network Systems both through our formal planning process and through informal ad-hoc discussions.
• This position will be based in Georgia at our headquarters in Alpharatta, with some in-state travel and once a month out of state travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network and datacenter operations, upgrades, design, and sales.
• Strong experience working with data and network infrastructure systems.
• Experience in storage, virtualization, servers, operating systems, applications.
• Consulting and/or team lead experience.
• Clear and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to create bills of material and scope of work to present to customers.
• The ability to understand, communicate, and work well with business as well as technical clients.

Additional desired qualifications

• Cisco UCS  Server experience.
• Public and private cloud design and deployment experience.
• History of customer engagements in SouthEast United States.
